**Windrush Care - Care Assistant**:
**Hourly wage: - **_£14.10 per hour + (enhancements for Bank holidays)_
**Travel allowance: - **40p per mile _(From home to first call and onwards, then back home)_
**Clear and concise pay scales**. with nothing hidden. For one hour of work - you will be paid our stated hourly rate (dependent on weekdays and weekends)

Plus - all hours worked will accrue holiday time - which will then be available to use as paid holiday. For every 8 hours of work, you do - you will accrue 1 hour of **holiday leave**.

**Location**: We provide care and support calls to clients in the Cheltenham and the North Cotswolds areas.

**Hours available**:_- _**Like everyone, our clients have a choice on when they wish to receive their care and support needs.
- _ Morning Visits: - From 07.00am - 14.00pm_
- _ Evening Visits: - From 17.00pm - 22.00pm_
- _ Must have availability at least every other weekend_
- _ No minimum hours required._

**What’s actually involved as a home carer at Windrush Care?**
- Companionship visits
- Assistance with personal care tasks
- Supporting with medication and ensuring our clients are safe with their medication
- Assisting with housework, preparing meals or even walking the dog
- Helping with errands such as food shopping, posting letters or picking up prescriptions.

- On-call support 7 days a week, 24 hours a day + Supportive office team - open door policy.
- Free DBS check
- Paid shadow shifts
