We are currently recruiting to our Wyre Domiciliary Service
Caring and reliable Community Support Worker
- Wake Watch to work within the Wyre Domiciliary Service in Adult Social Care at Lancashire County Council.
We are looking for cheerful and positive individuals who would like to make a difference to the people we support, to come and join our team at Wyre Domiciliary Service in making a substantial difference to the lives of the people we support within our Adult Disability Service.
You will be welcomed into the Domiciliary Service and make their day-to-day routine something to look forward to with your upbeat attitude and friendly persona. It is not essential that you have a background in Health and Social Care, you just need to have a good heart and a caring nature. We provide all the required training to ensure you get the most from your role, with qualifications on offer it's a great opportunity to progress in this service and turn it into a career to be proud of
This is a 23.3 hour post, working night shift with a pattern of 10 pm - 8 am

**Empathy & Resilience **- you will have an understanding of the challenges the people we support deal with which means an empathic nature is of upmost importance - you will need bags of motivation and be able to keep going even on the more difficult days - the needs of our service users can be complex and you may face challenging behaviour but your determination and dedication to excellent care will make it feel easy - it is essential that you are able to communicate clearly and effectively with every individual providing reassurance and positivity.
