Endoscopy Consultant

- **Location**: East Kent
- **Shift patterns**: 08:00-20:00 Mon-Fri on-going, part-time hours also available.
- **Hours per week**: 20-50 hours available
- **Rate**: £100-£120 Depending on experience
- **Start date**: ASAP- no end date, this is on-going the client will accept short term contracts
- **Payment method: PAYE **we do NOT facilitate payment through LTD/umbrella companies

We're currently recruiting for a new locum opportunity based in Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother Hospital. You will be working as a Endoscopy Consultant, for an NHS Trust. For this role the individual must have relevant previous experience working in this type of position.
- Providing expert clinical care in endoscopy, including performing a range of endoscopic procedures such as upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), etc.
- Utilizing endoscopic techniques to diagnose conditions like gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, polyps, tumours, inflammatory bowel diseases, and other GI disorders.
- Conducting therapeutic interventions during endoscopy, such as removing polyps, performing biopsies, treating strictures, managing bleeding, placing stents, and carrying out other mínimally invasive procedures.
- Ensuring the well-being and comfort of patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures, explaining procedures to patients, and addressing their concerns.

**Requirements**:

- Valid GMC
- Right to work in the UK
- Will be required to provide at least 2 referees
- Minimum of 3 months paid experience in the NHS/UK
