We’re The Scottish SPCA. Scotland’s all animal emergency service. We are seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant to help deliver the Society’s ambitious strategy and vision.

The Finance Assistant is responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions in relation to Sales and Banking are correctly processed and maintained within the finance system for the Society and Braehead Limited. The Finance Assistant is required to follow the finance procedures set by the Head of Finance in line with the Society policies and work with the Head of Finance on continuous process improvements and implementations. The Finance Assistant is also required to work co-operatively within the Finance Team undertaking necessary tasks to ensure deadlines are met.

We are seeking applicants who have the minimum of an HNC in Accountancy or equivalent with experience in income processing and preparing bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

The full-time role, based at the Society’s headquarters in Dunfermline, is 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Hybrid working may be considered.
