The role

As a Senior Data Processor you will supervise data processing staff. Set up and operate a variety of data processing systems. Takes lead role in individual projects including offshore. Undertaking QC and processing of acquired survey data sets. Data processing, reporting and charting for company business lines. Operate a variety of data processing, CAD and GIS systems. Generation of client specified deliverables and reports.

You will ensure that all onshore and offshore activities are carried out with the highest regard to the health and safety of all involved and to the protection of the environment and prevention of pollution. Ensure that all work is undertaken to the highest quality and professionalism, in accordance with the company Integrated Management System and project specific documentation.

Responsible for identifying personal training needs, bring them to the attention of Department Manager and to take full advantage of the training opportunities provided. Supervise and quality control the collation and presentation of results from various survey sensors. The preparation of various survey reports as well as maintain comprehensive hand-over notes.

Maintain a detailed and accurate processing log, Supervise and train other staff. Evaluate the quality and presentation of data received from the field, ensuring that contract specifications have been met.

You will setup and operate survey processing software and monitor the data quality to ensure specification is achieved, bringing non-conformances to the attention of the MSC Processing Supervisor as well as assisting with the production of survey data packs for vessels prior to mobilisation.

Undertake processing of survey data such as navigation and multibeam echo sounder data acquired from Ship, ROV or AUV survey platforms.
