This is a truly exciting time to join our team as we work towards launching our newly developed £10m Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) that will deliver first-class diagnostic care to our community.

The new centre will have the ability to deliver joined up diagnostic care, and with increased capacity this will ensure our patients will have faster access to treatment, earlier diagnosis, and improved outcomes.

By becoming part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in innovative ways and play a central role in how we improve patient pathways, delivering the right test, at the right time, in the right place.

The applicant needs to be able to demonstrate a professionally courteous ability to meet and greet patients both face to face and via the telephone.

Working hours include daytime, evening, weekend and Bank Holiday shifts.

Our Radiographic Helpers are key to providing support to the staff and patients in the department to ensure smooth running in all areas of our high quality service. Duties for this post include bookings, checking in of patients and direct support for patients.

Enthusiasm, flexibility and the ability to work within defined protocols but also have the ability to use your own initiative if required are essential. Up to date computer skills are vital and basic medical terminology and ability to use CRIS would be advantageous, but full training will be given.

To ensure the maintenance of high standards of care in an environment, which promotes equality, emotional support and sensitivity for all individuals.

To assist with other departmental administration as required.

Care provided must be in adherence to departmental, local and national policies.

Ensure that relationships and own behaviour are managed in line with the Behavioural Framework competencies.
