At **Jewson**we are looking for **a SEO Lead**to develop search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives for Saint-Gobain's building distribution brands in the UK.

We're looking for a Search Engine Optimization & Internal Search Lead to join a fantastic and vibrant digital marketing team here at our office in Newbury, helping increase our share of search in the builder's merchant market around the country. The SEOLead will be a key part of our business, where you will be responsible for 2 members of the team which consist of 7 talent and technical minded professionals

**What we're looking for**:

- Deep understanding of how search engines work, and experience working on large eCommerce websites
- Strong technical SEO knowledge, and comfortable implementing solutions using new and experimental technologies
- Understanding of how personal objectives affect business metrics
- Strong analytical thinker, strong mentoring and hands on Leaders skills,
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple simultaneous priorities

**What you will be doing**:

- Create and implement plans to support business objectives including digital revenue targets,
- lead generation and target audience site visitor numbers and conversion
- Manage on-site search capability and performance and gather actionable user insights across both channels
- Oversee development of SEO team.
- This role reports directly to the Director of Digital Marketing and you'll also be managing a team of 2 within the SEO team.
