**About the Senior Quality Technologist job**

As a key part of the food technical team, you will provide support and assist the Technical Manager in driving compliance across the food production site to the required Food Safety, Legality, Quality, and product integrity standards.

**Key tasks**
- Day to day management of the Production Quality team
- Support the Technical Manager to ensure compliance with company, customer, BRC, ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and continually review the site’ Quality Management Systems.
- Play a key role in HACCP implementation.
- Identify gaps in knowledge and organise training on technical procedures for key operational staff.
- Provide practical support to promote a QA and food safety culture.
- Manage investigations of quality related matters, complaints, and operational non-conformances.
- Assist with customer and regulatory audits.

**About You**
- Quality assurance or technical experience in a food manufacturing/food production environment
- Good working knowledge of BRC, ISO, customer standards and regulatory requirements.
- Level 3 Food Hygiene, HACCP, and Lead Auditor qualifications are preferred.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word

The Senior Quality Technologist job is based in Kent and is paying £32,000 - £35,000 according to your experience.

The package includes 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, pension, employee assistance programme plus other company benefits.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm or 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.
