Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a **Veterinary Receptionist at **Alnorthumbria Vets in Morpeth.**

You'll be joining us on a part-time, permanent basis, where you will be working 26.5 hours per week.

The shift pattern will be:
Monday 08.00 - 19.00

Wednesday 08.00 - 13.30

Friday 13.30 - 19.00

Saturday 08.30 - 13.00

**About the role**:
As our new Receptionist, you will provide a friendly and efficient service to our clients and their animals.

Day-to-day duties of the role will include:

- Answering phones and booking appointments
- Registering new clients
- Completing insurance forms
- Dispensing medications
- Taking payments
- And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the clinic

**What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist**:

- **Previous Receptionist experience is essential**, veterinary experience is a plus
- An excellent communicator with strong empathy
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
- Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
- A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
- **Computer literacy skills are a must**
