Assistant Technical Sales Representative

LEDextra provide custom designed LED solutions to commercial, industrial and retail environments. Our internal sales office help to manage these contracts and projects. They require an outgoing, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join their dynamic team as an Assistant Technical Sales Representative. You would be working in an often busy environment with the need to think on your feet and have a keen eye for detail. You will take incoming sales calls, prepare and price quotes, review incoming orders, give pricing and delivery information and manage projects. Continual training on the forever evolving product ranges will be provided.

**Main duties & responsibilities**:
Assistant Technical Sales Representative ATSR
- Answer incoming calls and assist customers with their enquiries and advise on item selection including, products, components and controls.
- Upsell where possible.
- Advise on installation and installation requirements.
- Advise on product operation.
- Communicate directly with suppliers to gain technical information and pricing.
- Work out product pricing incorporating Dextra Services gate price and input from Director.
- Assist the Director where possible including organising sale meetings and product demos.
- Assist with product launches.
- Communicate with relevant departments on stock availability.
- Process orders.
- Check and confirm T3PD+TSA Quotations and sales orders.
- Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company.
- Follow the requirements of the Company’s ISO Procedures ie: Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures.
- Follow the Company’s Health and Safety Policy, work instructions and safe systems of work.
- Other sales related duties, which may arise from time to time.

**Post Requirements**:

- Basic computer literacy.
- Good eye for detail.
- Ability to hold concentration whilst working in a fast moving, open plan environment.
- Confident telephone manner.
- Willing to learn the technical details of the product range sold.
- Smart appearance.
