Job Summary:
We are looking for a modern apprentice that will assist the QHSE Lead.

This role will develop into the below job description after the completion of the MA and AquaTerra development plan

Reporting to the QHSE Lead and training towards the ability of carrying out the below tasks:

- Supporting the development and maintenance of the Company’s Business Management Systems in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 17020:2012
- Document Control - Updating and maintaining company documentation
- Assist with monitoring company operations to ensure they comply with standards and regulations
- Developing, implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures
- Supporting internal and external audit activities
- Collect and compile data related to QHSE performance
- Coordinate QHSE training sessions and activities for employees
- Assist in incident investigation processes, including gathering information, documenting findings, and identifying corrective actions
- Assist with preparation of reports relating to QHSE performance and trends for management review
- Participate in meetings, taking minutes and assisting in the follow-up action items
- Making suggestions for changes and improvements to the company’s Business Management Systems
- Ensuring effective communication and transfer of QHSE related information throughout the organisation
- Assist in evaluating and maintaining the QHSE performance of suppliers
- Provide assistance to other departments relating to QHSE matters when required
- Willingness to undertake personal development activities

**Necessary/Desirable Experience/Qualifications/Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to communicate on all levels within the business
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft packages including MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Good organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

**Salary**: From £5.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
