**Mortgage Officer**

**Chatham**

**£25-28,000 DOE**

**Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm**

**12-month FTC**

An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Mortgage/Securities Officer to join a financial company based in Chatham.

You will work as part of the Mortgage Servicing department delivering the best services for the company’s lenders.

**Duties of this role include but are not limited to**:

- Overseeing customer and solicitor requests with important questions which may interfere with contracts terms and conditions regarding the mortgage loans
- Responsible for overseeing factors which may impact a customers or companies loan capabilities. Ensuring that reports are documented and processed accurately.
- Fulfilment of core servicing activities and customer requests across the brand
- Contributing to new business with a high-end standard of service
- Ensure that the process and approval of requests are in line with the cored guidelines and procedures
- Respond and manage all enquiries regarding complex mortgage enquires
- Contributing to the testing of new products as well as changes as and when required
- Confidently engage with both internal and external parties including customers and stakeholders using existing mortgage knowledge
- GCSE or equivalent in both Maths and English
- A strong understanding of risk-based assessing
- Exceptional understanding of MS Office and Excel
- A strong understanding of GDPR
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong account management abilities
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Solution focused
- Excellent organisation skills
