**Assistant Manager - Outdoor Retailer**
**Location - Ilkley**
**Salary - Circa £22’000 to £23’000 plus excellent benefits scheme**
**We are searching for an Assistant Manager who lives and breathes the outdoor lifestyle knowledge through experience is key for the customer journey.**
This is perfect for a natural leader who is ambitious to grow within an organisation that has an outstanding reputation for customer experience. We are happy to speak with passionate retailers or hospitality managers that love the outdoors whether that is cycling,climbing, bouldering, hiking or even a spot of wild camping
You will have strong commerciality to drive customer experience, product, team success and store turnover.
**Assistant Manager**:

- Eager to review, implement and create processes. Always looking at the business with a fresh pair of eyes.
- Confident to share ideas and influence key stakeholders.
- Lead in a dynamic driven environment.
- Passionate about sustainability.
- Ethical with positive values.
- Creative flair to drive merchandising suitable for customer profile.
- Develop the business as part of the community. Organising and delivering events to increase customer potential.
You will have a positive and warm attitude, working as an inspiring leader to motivate and challenge your teams to meet the demands of this growth retail market.
**Experience needed**:

- This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or Supervisor from either Retail, Hospitality or the Outdoor Industries.
- Lead a culture that empowers your team with a hands-on approach.
- You will be a leader that can think on your feet in a dynamic retail business.
- Effective and efficient control of costs, budgets and allocation of resources.
- High degree of commercial awareness.
- Strategic thinker.
- An interest in **outdoor pursuits** is an essential requirement for this role.
