**About Our Client**:
A leading Housing Association.

The key responsibilities:

- To work closely with the Income Collection and Recovery team and Court Officers to provide advice and assistance on all areas related to court action through court representation and any other tenancy enforcement and negotiation.
- To represent the organisation in all legal cases and offer full defence in person at county court where appropriate for repossession hearings and other legal proceedings.
- Attend court liaison meetings if required as set out by the HMCS to ensure best practice and etiquette undertaken at each hearing.
- To resolve cases swiftly by investigating, gathering evidence and using a variety of tools and powers, including preparing case files and court document

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Good Social Housing knowledge
- Previously worked as an Income Recovery Officer or court experience
- A good understanding of domestic budgeting, debt management, welfare reform and benefit regulations
- Experience of dealing with high risk arrears case management
- An understanding of best practice in arrears collection and of related legal issues
- Experience in income collection and recovery at all levels
