**Work Pattern**: Permanent, Part Time, 22.5 hours per week (0.6WTE)

**Who We Are**
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.
NES Psychology are responsible for training Psychologists for NHS Scotland and delivering education and training in psychological care to the multi-professional workforce across Scotland.
We work in partnership with Scottish Government and other key stakeholders to increase the capacity within the current workforce to deliver evidence based psychological interventions.
**The Opportunity**
We are looking for a Clinical Tutor to join the Clinical Practice Team based at the University of Glasgow. The Tutor post is designed to support the partnership with NHS Scotland and the University of Glasgow in the development, delivery and quality assurance of the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
You will be a Clinical Psychologist, registered with HCPC and eligible for chartership with the BPS, with experience of supervising Clinical trainees. You will have an interest in Clinical Practice education and an ability to manage challenging deadlines.

- Experienced clinical psychologist
- Experience of supervising Clinical Psychology trainees in a clinical setting
- Experience of taking a lead role in education programme initiatives
- Keen knowledge and interest in clinical practice education
- Highly effective communicator knowing how to make often complex clinical information and language simple for diverse internal and external stakeholders (both verbally and in writing)
- Experience of initiating, conducting and coordinating research/evaluation
- Demonstrate honesty, integrity, care and compassion when dealing with others, utilising tact and persuasion skills when necessary
- A track record of collaborating, influencing and building key networks and strategic alliances across a complex system of stakeholders (internal and external) in public or private sector
