This care home provides specialist rehabilitation care for people with an acquired brain injury (ABI) or progressive neurological conditions (PNCs)

**To be considered for this position you must have a degree in Speech & Language Therapy and registered with the HCPC**

**As the Speech & Language Therapist your key responsibilities include**:

- Manage complex cases, cultural and linguistic differences, and to generate strategies
- To demonstrate specialist knowledge in communication and swallowing disorders
- To contribute to the assessment and information-gathering regarding service users’ mental capacity and ability to give informed consent with support from senior colleagues
- To assist service user's to maximise their independence in decision-making and communicating their wishes

**The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role**:

- To have experience of managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia
- Experience of working with families
- Evidence of continuing Professional Development
- Able to show a can-do attitude always
- Specialist clinical knowledge and experience in Adult Neuro-rehab

**The successful Speech & Language Therapist will receive an excellent salary of £38,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 30 hours a week. In return for your hard and dedication you will receive the following generous benefits**:
