We are recruiting for a Service Advisor, to join our team in South Shields - KTM, GAS GAS, HUSKY and ROYAL ENFIELD Motorcycle dealership.

Across our sites we have a stable workforce of 50+ people, many of whom have been with us for years. Formerly known as Jennings Ford, Mazda, Kia and SEAT we have rebranded and entered the motorcycle market.

As a Service Advisor your duties will include dealing with all customers in a professional and prompt manner, portraying a positive first impression of the Service Department. Advising Customers on technical queries and issues they may have, you will be first point of contact for booking in vehicles into the workshop for work to be carried out informing customers of the progress of their vehicle. Pricing Jobs and ordering parts for vehicles will also form a critical part of the role. Full training will be given to our systems that will include all pricing and costs to enable you to quickly assist customer needs.
- Working with customers to meet their requirements and giving advice on additional parts and services.
- Matching orders against stock items and sourcing parts, while offering competitive prices
- Working as a team and independently to reach set goals and KPIs.
- Delivering fantastic customer service while remaining efficient and focused on your tasks.
- Managing goods in and out.
- Working with suppliers, placing orders or returns and processing paperwork accurately.
- Cash handling.
- Sell Service hours to customers for maintenance and repair of their motorcycles
- Deal with customer enquiries on the telephone and in person
- Manage the aftersales diary.
- Liaise with mechanics and sales team to ensure great customer service.
- Automotive Sector experience preferred
- Advise on a recommended course of action to our customers, and accurately invoice for any work carried out

Experience in the motor trade at a car dealer or motorcycle dealer (motorbike dealer) is a plus and a SIGNING bonus may be available for a highly experienced car service advisor or service controller looking to step up.

Pay: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
