Elevation Recruitment Group are currently looking for a Sales Administrator for a well established Engineering and Manufacturing business based in Ecclesfield area of Sheffield.
The successful Sales Administrator will be responsible for managing the internal sales processes working closely with key stake holders both externally and internally. You must be customer focused with an appreciation of manufacturing processes. This is a parttime role, with flexibility between 25-30 hours, but ideally you will be able to spread those hours over 4/5 days to ensure there is coverage.
Key duties for the Sales Administrator will include:
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently looking for a Sales Administrator for a well established Engineering and Manufacturing business based in Ecclesfield area of Sheffield.
Reporting into the Sales Director, and supporting the Business Development Managers, the successful Sales Administrator will be responsible for managing the internal sales processes working closely with key stake holders both externally and internally. Youmust be customer focused with an appreciation of manufacturing processes.
Key duties for the Sales Administrator will include:

- Receive, input and follow up of quotes, process sales orders - as required
- Obtain feedback on lost enquiries to improve our performance and offering - as required
- Ensure customers are aware of manufacturing progress and issues are dealt with
- Prepare and issue Engineering progress reports to customers
- Plan and make arrangements for Sales trips, Shows and Exhibitions as required
- Identify and assist in removing barriers to Sales
- Improve customer experience
- Collecting customer feedback and market research
- Compile and report sales figures
- Ensure awareness of the key features of the organisation offering - Products, USP
- Maintain CRM and data files/records as required for future reference
- Maintain Price Lists within a Pricing Strategy
- Receive, input and follow up of quotes, process sales orders - as required
- Answer incoming telephone calls and reception in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with Administrative duties of the department
- Provide cover for Shipping/Logistics in other business areas
- Maintain and improve the filing system including electronic and hard copies
- Process orders for materials (products and resources)
- Positively interact and maintain relationships with key suppliers/consultants
- Contribute effectively to team meetings
- Other duties as advised by the team and Directors
To be successfully considered, you will have the following skills / experience:

- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience using ERP, MRP or other systems
- Strong customer service values
- A proactive and tenacious approach
- The ability to multi-task / meet deadlines
