We are looking to appoint into the Patient Booking Centre in Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor. You will be working in a fast paced environment and dealing with patients, administrative colleagues, General Practitioners and medical staff. Your main role will be to register, contact and book patients into clinics. You will be the first point of contact for many patients so courtesy and empathy is vitally important.

We are looking to appoint a Patient Booking Clerk to work in a call centre environment at Ysbyty Gwynedd Bangor to provide a professional, efficient and effective centralised booking service for a variety of outpatient clinics.

You will need to use initiative in sometimes complex situations to ensure that patients are booked in line with local and national Access targets.

You will work as part of a large team, supporting other team members and will need to work closely with clinic prep staff, medical secretaries, outpatient and medical staff and with clerical supervisors and managers throughout the hospitals to deliver the Access targets and a patient focused booking service.

The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
