**The purpose of the role is to**:

- Offer general assistance to the team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone
- Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way
- Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the unit including the provision of secretarial and clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the team
- Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of the primary health care team, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies.

We are looking for colleagues with various levels of admin and reception experience who have with good interpersonal and organisational skills and who will be able to work well within our team.

You will need to have a flexible approach to work, be reliable, adaptable and have good organisational skills. A pleasant telephone manner and good communication skills are essential. You will also be computer literate with experience of Word and Excel, be a team player and able to maintain confidentiality.

The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
