St. Joseph’s Care Home is a calm and friendly residential care home. We are looking for an experienced housekeeper to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general cleaning tasks to ensure all rooms and common areas are maintained to a high standard
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Assisting with meal preparation when required
- Reporting any maintenance issues to the relevant department
- Support the Head Housekeeper in reporting any defects or damage to furnishings within the home
- Ensure that infection control policies and universal precautions are followed at all times and complete cleaning documentation in line with company policy.
- Ensure all health and safety requirements are being met and attend training as required.

**You will be**:
Qualifications:

- Proven experience in cleaning in NHS hospitals or residential homes
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.64 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
