We are looking for an experienced and passionate Locality Lead to work as part of our North West Criminal Justice & Secure Care Team.

Our Criminal Justice and Care Navigation Team is made up of a range of highly skilled clinical staff working at Steps 1 - 3 of the stepped care model including a significant focus on using Care Navigation to support individuals to access services, move between services and move between environments. These teams include prison based services, community based services and step down/transition services working with an extensive range of stakeholders.

The Criminal Justice and Care Navigation division works as part of our place based delivery directorate so you will be expected to represent our services and Rethink Mental Illness at place based events and develop effective stakeholder relationships to this effect.

**How you will make a difference**

As a Locality Lead in the Criminal Justice and Care Navigation division, you will provide clinical leadership, governance, assurance and improvement skills to our leadership team. You will lead on service improvement work, service development initiatives, integrating national best practice into our teams along with ad hoc work supporting the development of business cases and maximising service growth opportunities with our stakeholders.

Day to day, you will line manage the senior clinician’s in our teams, working alongside the rest of the leadership team to manage budgets, contracts, quality schedules and co-ordination of staff training for all our staff groups. You will ensure all clinical groups within our services receive appropriate support, training opportunities and service development chances to provide a high quality service to those we support.

Working hours are core hours between Monday and Friday, accommodating service provision that covers 0800 - 1800 although some elements of flexibility can be discussed.

This role is a regional role, and will involve regular regional travel and occasional national travel where some overnight stays may be required. In addition, this role will require HM Prison Security Vetting.
