**About The Role**:
**RAC **currently has an exciting opportunity for an **SMR Administrator** to join our new Service Maintenance and Repair(SMR) Division based at our Bescot office. This is a Permanent position on a full-time contract.

As an **SMR Administrator**, you will support colleagues in the SMR division with any administrative tasks required with two key objectives, which are to deliver the annual quality audit programme for the RAC garage network working with internal stakeholders to support garages in passing their audit.

Carry out a monthly audit of parts spend by mechanics to ensure costs remain within budget.

Salary is **£20,000 - £22,000** (Dependent on Experience)

**Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm - 35 Hours per week.**

**What you’ll do**
- Create an annual schedule to ensure each of our 1300 RAC approved garages are audited each year
- Contact garages that have declined proposed audit dates to rearrange.
- Generate and send out notification letters for onsite audits for both approved and accredited garages.
- Carry out a monthly audit of parts spend by mechanics to ensure costs remain within budget.
- Coordinate attendance dates with RAC Inspections team.
- Work with inspection team to address prioritising overdue garage audits.
- Reporting of audit program progress
- Collection of supporting evidence from garages (Including insurance and licence documents) to enable them to pass their audit.
- Implementing post-inspection action plans with garages who have failed audit to ensure compliance to our high standards is maintained.
- Analyse spends with suppliers to ensure we are being charged correctly for transactions and we keep our service costs as low as possible.

**What you’ll need**
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including building spreadsheets for analytical purposes
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload and achieve deadlines.
- Good analytical & written skills
- Strong Interpersonal & Communication skills
- A team player who is flexible in approach to support areas in the contact centre during periods of high demand
- Keep knowledge up to date for systems and processes.

**Qualifications/FSA**:
Good working knowledge of FSA and compliance procedures
