Independent Financial Adviser
Location : Leeds
Salary DOE

NJR Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established Firm of Financial Planners who are looking to expand their advising team in Leeds City Centre.

We are looking to speak to experienced Advisors who have delivered face to face advice on a variety of financial products, including Pensions and Investments, in an independent setting, although those with experience within a restricted environment would be welcomed.

The role includes generating new business as well as maintaining a small bank of provided clients, producing reports using the company templates and ensuring the company works to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities you will be responsible for:
\" The primary responsibility will be to ensure that the firm\'s clients receive the highest level of financial advice and ongoing service
\" Contribute to the success of the business by further developing the existing client bank, gaining referrals where possible and strengthening client relationships
\" Increase income for the business by converting new leads and business opportunities
\" Maintain a high profile for both self and the firm in the local business and professional sectors by way of planned and focused networking
\" Consistently comply with legislative, financial, procedural, and quality requirements
\" Maintain a proactive and positive working environment

What we need from you:
\" Proven experience in a client facing Wealth Management or Financial Planning role
\" Previous experience providing independent advice on Whole of Market products including Investments and Pensions
\" At least hold a Level 4 diploma in Financial Services ideally working towards Chartered status
\" A passion for generating new business and maintaining professional relationships
\" Consistent ability to develop and forge successful business relationships within the wealth management and financial planning arena
\" Ability to operate within a complaint framework and adhere to corporate and regulatory quality standards
\" Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workloads
\" Attention to detail
\" A high level of initiative and enthusiasm with the ability to identify opportunities within the wealth management and financial planning arena
\" Strong product, market, and technical knowledge.
\" IT literate (Microsoft Office, etc)
