Advance Social Value are a built environment social value consultancy, part of The Black Capital Group, the parent company that powers the Procure Partnerships Framework, Compliance Chain and Strategic Resourcing.

Advance Social Value specialise in the successful planning, monitoring, managing, reporting and delivery of meaningful social value for our contractors and in turn, their clients. We are looking for a bid manager / writer who has specific experience in social value calculation and planning. A strong persuasive writer, with an eye for design and layout. A person who can review project outputs and create comprehensive case studies for both end user clients and principal contractors.

**What does the role look like?**

No two days are the same We respond to new enquiries and maintain existing client relationships whilst we continuously streamline our processes.

**Tasks include**:

- Stakeholder Mapping research pieces
- Social Value Bid Responses
- Social Value Planning
- Co-ordinating and managing the successful delivery of social value across construction projects
- Social Value reporting via numerous platforms
- Liaising remotely with site teams providing advice on calculating Social Value Add
- Comprehensive monthly reporting and case study production
- Providing demonstrations for our in-house software solution; Compliance Chain
- Reviewing policies and updating the wider team on any pertinent changes
- Collaboration with the wider team to develop compelling Social Value Bid responses

**Competitive Analysis**
- Conducting thorough research into current social value policy, advising on any key changes
- Ensuring accurate audit trails are maintained for all stakeholder engagement

**ESSENTIALS**

**Bid Experience**
- Proven experience in end-to-end bid management and marketing within the Construction Industry/Built Environment
- Ability to craft clear, persuasive and compelling social value bid responses
- Confident use of Canva, Microsoft Office; in particular Excel

**Social Value Experience**
- Experience in reporting on: Thrive, Social Value Portal, Airtable, Compliance Chain, Loop and other social value reporting platforms
- Meticulous Time Management skills allowing for drafts and design sign offs, whilst not compromising external deadlines
- An Inquisitive market researcher and analysist, gathering stakeholders to engage with from specific local areas

**DESIRABLES**
- Experience in delivering on-site social value activities
- Experience in managing stakeholders, chairing meetings and managing potential clients and maintaining client expectations

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
