**Tasks and Responsibilities**
Supporting the Accounts Receivables (Credit Control) department in maintaining and managing a portfolio of DHL customers, to maximise cash collections and reduce bad debt exposure, in alignment with DHL payment terms. You must embrace key attributes of great Customer Service by demonstrating being Knowledgeable, Polite and Helpful at all times. As an agent, you must support the aims and objectives of the business by maintaining departmental targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and results and identifying and escalating any invoicing or credit control issues to your respective Supervisor, if the need arises.

**Customer / Stakeholder**
- To adopt an insanely customer centric culture, meeting customer needs and satisfaction at all times, when handling customer billing and debt related enquiries or escalations, taking ownership when necessary
- Liaise with relevant Local, Regional and Global account managers to support the needs of both National and Major key accounts
- Liaise with third party debt collection agencies and other departments, where applicable, to ensure timely collection of outstanding debt and follow-up of any outstanding queries or issues
- Represent DHL at meetings/conference calls with customers and other DHL entities to build relationships and maximise cash collection opportunities
- Provide an overview to Departmental visitors to show the fully functional role of a Credit Controller
- Support training and coaching of new and existing team members as and when required
- Help and cover team members in times of sickness and holidays

**Specific Role Challenges (key focus areas/challenges expected for post holder)**
- To ensure all targets and KPIs are achieved within a set Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Carry out customer visits with the Sales Team and Line Managers to build customer relationships, attend to customer needs and support any issues with Invoicing / Credit Control
- Enhance processes, improve productivity and quality via Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Manage ad hoc requests from management as and when required
- Support work shadowing and training requirements for new members of staff, when requested, providing guidance on the role and coaching

**Safety and Security**
- Adhere to country laws/regulations and company procedures/ standards in regard to Safety and Security
- Adhere to customs / import / export procedures as applicable
- Ensure any potential security breaches or concerns are brought to the attention of supervisor/manager without delay
- There may be a requirement to undertake a Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) in relation to certain duties and procedures.
