**Working Hours**: Full Time 32.5 hours

**Pay scale**: MPR/UPR plus TLR 2C

Due to the retirement of the current post holder, the Governors of Bedford Primary are seeking to appoint a highly skilled practitioner who has the experience, ability and commitment to provide SENDCO leadership across our school.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusion to have a significant impact on our large SEND cohort.

This full-time role, is not class based, affording the post holder the time to focus on the development of high quality, SEND provision across the school.

We currently have a large number of funded pupils who are supported in personalised groups or via targeted, specialised interventions and via 1:1 staff.

As Bedford Primary is part of Southport Learning Trust the successful applicant will also be supported by the Trust’s strategic leads and the community of school improvement network groups that we are part of.

To meet the statutory requirements for the role, the successful applicant must:

- have already completed or commenced the NASENCO;
- or commit to enrolling upon and completing the NPQ course for SENCOs starting no later than spring 2025
