Maternity Compliance and Assurance Facilitator

We are expanding our maternity governance team and have created a new role. We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed individual who will provide direct support for compliance and assurance processes in maternity. Together with the governance lead, the postholder will coordinate evidence of compliance with all regulatory, statutory and good practice governance requirements, including Ockenden, NHS Resolution Maternity Incentive Scheme (MIS) and the Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) 5 core domains and standards, and provide evidence of such compliance for internal and external assurance.
The post holder will provide direct support to the Maternity Services in coordinating compliance with all regulatory, statutory and good practice governance requirements, including Ockenden, NHS Resolution Maternity Incentive Scheme (MIS) and the Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) 5 core domains and standards, and provide evidence of such compliance for internal and external assurance.
The post will involve working closely with the Lead Midwife for Governance and Quality, Obstetric Governance Lead, Obstetric Audit Lead, Director of Midwifery, Head of Midwifery, Consultant Midwife
The post holder will be expected to lead in key areas of quality and assurance including audit, quality improvement, clinical guidelines, as well as supporting and monitoring the actions from audits and quality improvement projects.
