London, United Kingdom GMO GlobalSign Full time

**About GMO GlobalSign**

**Summary of the role**

**Purpose**:At GlobalSign, we aim to encourage a transparent, collaborative, lean culture to software delivery and due to this aim, an Agile Delivery Lead role has opened up. This role is broken down into two areas; Squad and Program.

The Agile Delivery Lead (Scrum Master) is key to evolving our ways of working and should be an experienced practitioner in agile techniques. We want to drive continuous improvement across our community and organisation.

This role requires an individual who is organised, who is able to balance many different activities at any given time. Of course, the individual needs to have the hard skills when it comes to being a Scrum Master; especially given the amount of terminology and theory that sits under the Agile umbrella. More importantly than hard skills, the individual requires great soft skills. For instance, being able to work well and build great working relationships within the team and others. Being an individual who knows the theory, this hire also needs to be able to coach colleagues; A great Scrum Master must not only know what to do, but be able to explain the how and why to everyone involved. The Scrum Master ideally should work with the individual skills of everyone involved to maximise the potential of the team. Scrum teams are made up of individuals with differing ideas, personalities, and work styles, and it would be the responsibility of the Scrum Master to determine the best course of action.

This individual should be able to maintain and update roadmaps on a regular cadence, keeping stakeholders informed of progress towards value and where necessary, pro-actively addressing potential risks to key deliverables. The individual should be a great communicator, not only verbal communication but also utilising tooling so that communication can be autonomous and self-serving where necessary.
