**Contract**:MC Lecturer, Full time, Permanent**

**Teaching Hours: 864 per annum**

**Annual Leave: 45 per annum plus statutory Bank Holidays**

**About the role**
- Must hold a level 3 Electrical Engineering or Installation qualification, along with the following
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification and Testing and Inspection of Electrical Systems qualification.
- Achievement of or working towards a recognised teaching qualification.
- Must have competent industrial experience in an electrical based working environment.
- Desirable - Current knowledge and / or experience of teaching in one or more fields of Electrical Installations.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- 2391 Testing and Inspection qualification.
- Evidence of disseminating good practice effectively.
- The ability to deal promptly and effectively with inappropriate behaviour in the classroom.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to prepare written and visual teaching materials including the effective use of Information Learning Technology, eg Virtual Learning Environment, Power-Point supported by key software.
- Technically competent in relevant skill discipline.
- Ability to manage time effectively and consistently meet deadlines.
- Ability to identify and articulate business opportunities.
