The DMS CDIO function is currently recruiting for a number of positions in all aspects of Digital Transformation ranging from Service Delivery through to Information Security and Data Exploitation. For this campaign we are looking for a Cyber Risk Assistant.

**Job description**:
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Requesting the assignment of a Cyber Security Assessor on behalf of the project/programme and briefing the new Assessor its target(s) of accreditation.
- Inputting and maintaining Targets of Accreditation (ToAs) on the Defence Accreditation Risk Tool (DART)
- Assisting with the Green Channel Accreditation of Defence Medical Services (DMS) equipment
- Ensuring all CIS equipment is registered and recorded in the Asset Register
- Undertaking ad-hoc Cyber Security duties as advised by the Cyber Security Risk Manager such as assisting in the investigation of incidents where CIS Security has been compromised.
- Advising on specific security issues during the production of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)

**Person specification**:
As the successful post holder you have the ability to identify, analyse and subsequently take action that mitigates or removes threats to information technology systems. Performing the required tasks to protect and reduce the varying and sophisticated levels of threats and targeted attacks against the organisation.

You will be undertaking Cyber based operational activities that support wider effects-based outcomes. Whilst** **adapting policy, plans and direction in response to evolving threat assessments and gaining experience by developing stronger partnerships, working flexibly and collaboratively across teams and with all partners to meet joint objectives.
