Southampton, United Kingdom Benefex Full time

Are you a Communications Consultant with a creative heart? Do you love working with customers, developing inspiring communications and bringing campaigns to life? Maybe you relish in helping employees understand the world of online benefits, from pensions to financial wellbeing and more?

If this sounds like you, read on to see exactly what we’re looking for.

We are Benefex, a technology business in the heart of Southampton enjoying a period of rapid growth. As part of this growth, we need to strengthen our Communications teamwhich is where you come in.

As a Communications Consultant your role will be strategic, creative and incredibly varied, from pitching to potential customers to developing dynamic reward brands and so much more. As part of our Global Communications Team, your main responsibilities will be to create communication strategies and oversee the delivery of your projects through the Communications team. You’ll be responsible for a portfolio of new Global customers, using your skills and creativity to successfully onboard them and their employees on to our technology. You’ll also be working with some long-standing customers, supporting their communications needs as their reward and benefit schemes grow.

You’ll work closely with a team of Project Managers and Benefit Consultants to come up with the right solutions to meet the needs of your customers, as well as our team of expert Designers and Copywriters who will bring your strategy to life. We support our brilliant portfolio of customers when it comes to communicating with their employees. Whether that’s informing them about annual benefits selection or helping them to maximise the employee experience for everyone who works for them - you name it, we’ll communicate about it.

You’ll have proven success managing customers and growing revenue with the capability of delivering exceptional pitches to inspire confidence and commitment. Plus, you’ll have a good understanding of strategic communication campaigns and the digital industry. Ideally, you will have worked within internal communications, or understand and appreciate the role it plays in an organisation. You will be used to working at pace and supporting a variety of customers, with an agility to the way you work and the teams and resources you work with to bring everything together to make things happen. You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-moving and occasionally pressurised environment, and will be able to demonstrate high levels of autonomy and the ability to get the job done.

In return, you’ll get to work somewhere truly amazing. As a business, we’re passionate about the employee experience. That’s not just our customers’ employee experience, but the experience of every single person who works for us, too. You’ll be joining an energetic, creative, and collaborative Communications team, work with some great logos, and have interesting challenges every single day.

1) Spend some time on our website and learn about our business before you apply. We want to know what it is about Benefex which really makes you want to come and work here.

2) We can receive over 100 CVs a day. Make sure yours stands out.

3) Write the cover letter of your life. We’ll be using it as a first-hand opportunity to assess your communication skills. Show us what you are made of and make it almost impossible for us to refuse you an interview.

When it comes to how and when you work, we want all of our Benefexers to have the flexibility they need to find a working pattern that works for both them and the business, and we'll work with you at offer stage to do just that. Whether you're looking for home working, hybrid working, part time hours, or anything else, we've got people doing all of this and more. We don't want the hours you're able to work, or the location you're able to work from, to be a barrier to anyone joining the Benefex team
