The Priory Academy LSST, one of the UK’s top performing state schools, is looking for a Head of English to join our exceptional staff body. You would join a team who are rightly proud of our Academy’s outstanding academic track record but prouder still of the vibrant, supportive and ambitious culture to which we all contribute and foster.

You will be leading a department of twenty experienced Science specialists, who teach the full age and ability range. Both combined and separate Science courses are taught to GCSE with Biology, Chemistry, Physics A-level, alongside Applied Science and Health and Social care BTEC being taught at KS5. You will be responsible for the strategic and operational direction of the department including, but not limited to planning and organising in-house CPD; supporting colleagues with pedagogy; supporting colleagues with time and work-load management; encouraging the extra-curricular life of the department.
