**Your role**

As the first point of contact at Calvert Exmoor you will be a friendly, enthusiastic member of the team. Whatever the request you’ll be on hand to provide information for day visitors, residential guests, site visitors and staff.

**Key responsibilities**

In this diverse and rewarding role, your key responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming all visitors to the centre
- Welcoming residential guests on check-in
- Welcoming swimmers, riders, visitors to the site
- Assisting visitors and guests with enquiries during their stay/visit
- Taking payments
- Ensuring a smooth friendly check out procedure

Running the small shop
- Dealing with customer enquiries/purchases
- Stock check and rotation
- Cashing up at the end of the day

General duties to include
- Dealing with any guest/visitor requests
- Answering queries regarding activities
- Answering the telephone promptly, responding to queries or taking messages as appropriate
- Processing and directing post including the accurate recording of all income
- Taking swimming pool bookings
- Perform swimming pool checks
- General administration
- Distributing and ensuring the return of feedback forms
- Assisting the bookings team
- Assist the Head of Guest Services where required
- Working with other teams within Calvert Trust Exmoor to ensure the smooth running of the centre
- Swimming pool, Menvi call and fire panel emergency response requirements

**About you**

To be considered for the position of Front of House, you will need:
Essential:

- Previous experience within a reception environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- To be committed to providing outstanding standards of customer service and strive to exceed customer expectations
- To have great attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- To enjoy working as part of a close-knit team
- To be punctual and adaptable
- Competent in using: Microsoft Office - Word and Excel (advanced level desirable)
- To be over 18
- Your own means of transport due to our location
- To be a competent swimmer

Desirable:

- Knowledge of different disabilities
- Knowledge of the Cinolla booking system

Requirements for the Post:

- Must be office-based
- Available to cover weekends/check-ins on a rota system

9am - 6pm Monday to Friday

11am - 8pm Mondays & Fridays to cover check-ins

9am - 6pm Saturdays & Sundays
