Agora Talent are looking for a qualified Head of Finance to join a group who operate an array of prestigious events across the globe. Hosting 1000+ events per year, this is a chance to take on an all-encompassing role in a buzzing company, and lead a forward-lookingteam.

**What you’ll do in the role**:

- Reporting into the Finance Director, you will have management responsibility for the outputs and structure of the Finance function and be a key player in the leadership team.
- You will run a highly functioning team, implement and manage systems to boost performance, and deliver processes and resources that will provide a solid base for the Group’s activities.
- Beyond building this foundation, you will directly support the Finance Director on long term strategic and commercial activities across all business units.

**Your main responsibilities**:

- Oversee production of accurate and timely monthly financial statements for the group as a whole and each subsidiary
- Own the data input for Cash flow, treasury management, creditor payment runs and debtors reporting
- Actively implement processes across the business to support profitability and positive cash flow
- Oversee and own group compliance with VAT/PAYE/NIC and Corporation Tax reporting requirements both in the UK and other geographical regions including Europe, the USA, and Middle East
- Creation of Budgets and Forecasts per division with cohesion across the Group
- Lead steady improvement of monthly management accounting to provide value reporting, KPI and other qualitative analysis
- Lead the automation and re-engineering of various financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency within the finance department and the Group
- Ability to form internal and external relationships that endure challenges
- Confident individual with some experience managing a finance team
- Ability to work with Directors and present at Board level
- Can deliver cross-functional solutions that improve efficiency and information across the organisation
- Adept problem solver and commercial decision maker
- Experience implementing systems is desirable
- A broad business horizon
- Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)
