We are recruiting an experienced Stock Controller to join our busyExport & Purchasing Department.

The role entails coordinating incoming stock of new and changed products; investigating and coordinating product & delivery issues; maintaining continuous stock control of all Head Office warehoused products; creating stock reports, stock discrepancy investigations & reporting; stock adjustments and customer complaints regarding deliveries.

**Main Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Perform continuous quarterly count of stock in all areas using methodical and efficient processes to attain timely accuracy.
- Delivery issues including reporting, damages etc. investigation and reports as necessary
- Maintain close links with internal and external contacts
- Stock reporting to Purchasing & Operations Managers
- Maintain electronic library of files and archiving accordingly.
- Stock Adjustment including overseeing disposal of appropriate stock
- Identification and reporting on short-dated stock, ensuring isolation and quarantine of such is followed.
- Maintaining traceability of stock from Goods In, to Goods Out, including quarantined/returned stock.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Dynamics to maintain stock position, identify & track stock issues, anomalies and reconciliation.
- Assist purchasing in controlling/buying of business stationery & Head Office consumables
- Assist in the delivery of service to our US customer base including monitoring our 3rd party warehouse in the US.

**Essential knowledge**:

- Stock control experience
- Import paperwork, processes & procedures
- MS Office experience, including Excel to intermediate level

**Desirable knowledge**:

- Medical devices / equipment background
- ISO 13485 knowledge
- Microsoft Dynamics experience

**Desirable competencies**:

- Good communication skills both internally and externally
- Good organization skills

- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Flexible and adaptable
- Good delegation skills
- Ability to work as a team, covering tasks as required.
