We are looking for a passionate and experienced person to join our Communities and Education
Team in Bedfordshire to lead on developing and delivering innovative community engagement and
environmental education programmes.
We want to inspire and educate local schools and communities, empowering them to take positive
action for nature.

This role is central to our community engagement and education in Bedfordshire. Working closely
with the Communities and Education Manager and the rest of the team you will help develop,
promote and deliver engaging community events, including walks, talks and family activities.

Much of our work is focused on schools delivering sessions both on our reserves and in schools.
You will be leading this work in Central Bedfordshire and assisting others elsewhere in the
County.

We want to expand our engagement work in Bedfordshire using opportunities to engage with more
diverse audiences, in different locations. We believe nature is for everyone and can improve
well-being, therefore the successful applicant will be able to work with people from various
backgrounds and with varying abilities.

You will lead marketing, newsletters and social media coverage, ensuring that activities and
events are promoted in a timely manner to maximise impact and uptake.

**Contract/Hours**: Permanent. Part Time - 30 hrs per week
