Finance Administration Assistant

Our client has a fantastic opportunity within their Finance team; they are looking for someone who will drive continuous improvement within the function. This role will suit someone who is comfortable working where no two days are necessarily the same and where identifying new and improved ways of working is key to maintaining a busy and fulfilling job.
Your role will involve:
- Provide support to purchase ledger manager, including logging invoices and making payments
- Assist with month-end duties, which includes, bank reconciliations and journal input
- Entering suppliers onto the Societies approved supplier system and ensuring everything is up-to-date in terms of supplier review
Developmental Role Responsibilities
- Learn to prepare ongoing project documentation to support the Finance Controller
- Provide support to Finance project changes, with a view to managing and leading the Finance and Treasury projects from initiation stage through to closure in the future
- Attend meetings / workshops to represent Finance in order to feedback relevant information
This is a full time (35 hours per week )
It is a permanent role
Working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
