**A rare opportunity to join a public sector environment, Go2 People are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join the Education Improvement & Business Support team.**

**In the role of Education Improvement & Administration Support Officer your duties will be**:

- Maintain, record and monitor accurate data
- Dealing with enquiries of a confidential and sensitive nature
- Co-ordinate and produce correspondence and minutes following meetings
- Provide administrative/secretarial support
- Organise and manage appointment diaries & arrange
- Manage and co-ordinate the day to day workload of the General Office
- Produce relevant pupil data reports to assist Education Improvement
- Analyse data and produce reports
- Organise and attend relevant team meetings
- Provide a word-processing and typing service, producing letters, reports, minutes etc
- Confidentially advise and liaise with Members, schools, governors, parents, Local Authorities, agencies and internal personnel
- Undertake specific financial administrative tasks as required, such as processing invoices, raising orders and maintaining spreadsheets
- Distribute mail and other related correspondence
- Maintain confidentiality
- To work effectively as part of a team

**To be successful in the role of Education Improvement & Administration Support Officer you will need to**:

- Maintain and monitor a range of business processes of a statutory, highly confidential and sensitive
- Excellent IT skills
- Work closely with a range of service users such as Headteachers, teachers, governors, parents and members of the public in providing a confident and knowledgeable first point of contact
- Provide an efficient and effective administrative support
- Have a NVQ 3 Business Administration or relevant equivalent qualification (essential)
- Minute taking experience
- Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
- Knowledge and understanding of Data Protection legislation
- Have Self-motivation
- Be able to prioritise work according to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to deal with complex and confidential issues
- The ability to work alone and as part of a team.

This is a full time fixed term assignment, you will be working 37hrs per week per week Monday - Friday with a hybrid model of working. It is an immediate start and is expected to last approximately 8-12 weeks hourly rate is £11.38, can you confirm your rate plus service charge.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
