**Support Worker

**£10.90 per hour**

**The role**

You will be supporting individuals with a variety of needs. A typical day would start with reading or handing over any updates from the previous day, following detailed support plans to ensure a consistent approach to each individuals care. and furthermore helping with financial expenditure, personal care, domestic support and administration of daily medication.

A crucial part of the support you provide will be centred on activities in the local community such as; going to the gym, swimming, cinema, discos, football matches, places of interest, often using public transport to get there.

The person we support will require 2:1 care throughout the day. Shift patterns are 8am -3pm or 3pm -10pm and 10pm -8am (Waking Nights). You must be able to cover all shift patterns as they are on a rota basis.

This role involves lone working with the occasional double up.

**An Enhanced PVG is required for this role. Previous experience is desirable for this position although full training will be provided.**
