**As a Housing Officer what does the role entail**:
**Your day will consist of **
- Completing housing management admin and reception duties to ensure smooth running of the service.
- Maintaining accurate records using our Housing Management system and residents rent accounts and arrears.
- Managing Housing Benefit communication and schedules.
- Carrying out necessary audits and responsibilities to ensure Health and Safety requirements of the building are met.
- Communicating efficiently in regards to maintenance ensuring the building is maintained to a high standard.
- Following procedures void management.
- Managing the security of the building when lone working
- To assist manager with applicants to the scheme.
- Staying informed about the current residents, needs and risks.
- Having an awareness of residents progress within their support plan.
- Following safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure residents safety.
- You may also be required to assist support workers with various duties.

**This job is for you, if**
- You have experience working with vulnerable young people preferably within a Supported Housing Setting
- Fully I.T literate in all Microsoft Packages and confident in using a Housing Management System.
- Strong Communication and relationship building skills.
- Willingness to adopt a trauma informed approach/environment.
- You are a resilient and confident team worker who can work on their own initiative or work as part of a team.
- You can work unsociable hours, including evenings.

Successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
