**What you'll be doing**:

- Identify claims process improvements.
- Monitor market trends, cost changes and inflammatory factors in the construction market that would have an inflationary impact.

**About you**:
**What we’re looking for**:

- ACII or Construction qualification preferred.
- Good working knowledge of building construction and repair. This will include commercial, domestic, and agricultural, and relevant regulations.
- Expertise in scoping building repairs and control/challenge of contractor variations and pricing.
- Practical understanding of all building related perils and damage. Subsidence knowledge would be preferred.
- Understanding of policy interpretation and current market approach to compliance of the regulator.
- Ability to build and maintain strong and effective working relationships with customers and stakeholders, with excellent negotiation skills.
- Experience of auditing suppliers and contractors.
- Curiosity and courage to challenge the norm and share your suggestions proactively.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

**What we offer**:
At AXA UK, we’re appreciative of the people who work for us, and our rewards package is reviewed regularly to reflect that. You can expect to receive:

- Competitive annual salary up to £40,000
- Annual company & performance-based bonus
- Contributory pension scheme (up to 12% employer contributions)
- Life Assurance (up to 10 x annual salary)
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
- Opportunity to buy up to 5 extra days leave or sell up to 5 days leave.
- AXA employee discounts
- Gym benefits

You’ll work in an open and supportive environment where you’ll be developed, challenged and encouraged to move around to achieve even bigger and better things - nationally and internationally. You’ll learn directly from senior leaders, from the best in our business. And you’ll enjoy real responsibility, really early on.
