- Project managing and planning initiatives using local intelligence and the needs of the community to provide direction
- Creative thinking and a can-do attitude to manage and deliver a busy programme of investment activity across different communities
- Collaborating with stakeholders to manage and deliver projects and schemes that improve wellbeing and help build communities
- Working with suppliers and partners to deliver innovative and creative schemes that enhance safety in the community
- Assisting with developing opportunities for mentoring, volunteering, and fundraising
- Building effective and productive community relationships and working with diverse stakeholders
- Continuing to improve outcomes for residents and the wider communities. Communicating these outcomes to colleagues so that a social value calculation can be routinely calculated
- Building a network of internal collaborators to maximise the impact of investment
- Understanding the metrics on the total value of investment delivered and assist with reporting on the social value
- Producing materials for presentations both internally and externally
- Creating a narrative and telling a story that can be shared with stakeholders about how Align is helping to build a better future through community-focussed initiatives and will leave a legacy for the next generation
- Producing relevant project reporting and monitoring of agreed outcomes by providing accurate records of community investment activities
- Supporting the public events arranged by the community engagement team
- Utilising community investment opportunities efficiently showing good value for money
- Understanding and working in accordance with HS2’s values
