**Main Purpose of Role**

In this role you will support the HR Manager to provide a comprehensive, professional, and proactive Human Resources service to the company, being the first point of contact and escalating matters where necessary. Supporting the continued implementation of the MJ Church People Strategy working with the HR Manager to respond to the dynamic and changing requirements of the company.

**Role and Responsibilities**

Employee Relations:

- Advise line managers on employee engagement initiatives to ensure best practice.
- Conduct meetings and hearings, providing expert support in a range of employee relations matters.
- Act as a primary point of contact to provide a generalist HR advisory service.
- Support the HR Manager in the delivery of a proactive service addressing issues before they escalate and supporting the company to provide an excellent service to its customers, adapting and developing to changing business needs and growth.
- Support the HR Manager to provide advice and support in relation to HR related business including organisational structures, resourcing, training & development, succession plans, performance management, remuneration & benefits, people policies & practices and employment legislation.

Employee Lifecycle:

- Support the HR manager in provision of end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, from on-boarding to offboarding.

Administration:

- Manage HR administrative tasks efficiently, including maintaining employee records and managing documentation.
- Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Supporting with the month end and ad hoc reporting ensuring that data is collated, accurately and provided on time.

HR Projects:

- Collaborate on HR projects, such as performance management, employee engagement initiatives, and policy development.
- Implement and communicate changes to HR policies and procedures.
- Work with the HR Manager to deliver the EDI and Wellbeing strategies.
- Contribute to the development of the People Strategy and HR delivery plans.
- Lead on bespoke HR and cross functional projects providing people related expertise as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
