Job title: Readiness and Assurance Lead

Location: Warwick/Hybrid

Duration: 12 months initially

My client is an international electricity and gas company and one of the largest investor-owned Energy companies in the world. They play a vital role in delivering gas and electricity to many millions of people across Great Britain and North-Eastern US in an efficient, reliable and safe manner.

The role:
This role will lead the Assurance and Readiness activities for the programme, aligning requirements and ensuring a smooth process for the programme team and stakeholders. Vital to success will be the balance of programme team impact of readiness and assurance activities with the need to drive improvement and instill confidence in the executive team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive business readiness program to ensure smooth implementation of the Future System Operator at Day 1
- Manage the assurance requirements for the programme, integrating programme readiness to ensure a high-quality Day 1 delivery
- Collaborate with project team, stakeholders, and business leaders to identify and address business readiness gaps and risks
- Conduct impact assessments to determine the readiness of the business and recommend appropriate solutions to mitigate risks and address gaps
- Identify and develop support plans to ensure business continuity post-go-live, including hypercare support and issue resolution

**Requirements**:

- Experience in business readiness management or related field
- Experience in divestments is a desirable
- Experience in leading large-scale business readiness programs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and address business readiness gaps and risks
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Change management certification is a plus.
