We are seeking a well-qualified and inspiring leader, with a proven-track record of highly demonstrable impact at senior leadership level to lead our strategic approach to Curriculum, Teaching and Learning and Outcomes. The role offers the successful candidate with the opportunity to shape the direction of the academy, with the Principal and Deputy for Culture, as it strives for outstanding provision and outcomes. As Deputy Principal you will liaise closely with curriculum leaders to co-construct and quality assure our curriculum intent, you will lead seconded Senior Leadership team members to drive standards in Teaching and Learning and you will lead the Assistant Principal for Raising Standards, HOY 11 and the Exams team to drive successful outcomes.

The successful candidate will be a servant leader, with excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to inspire colleagues to deliver our strategies faithfully. We are looking for a Deputy Principal with high energy and positivity, a strong moral compass, a core steel and resilience and a high level of emotional intelligence. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have led change with impact and are reflective to learn from their mistakes.

You will be joining a high-quality Senior Leadership Team of a Principal, who has been in post for 4 years, a Deputy Principal for Culture and Student Accreditation, an Assistant Principal DSL, an Assistant Principal for Attendance and PP and an Assistant Principal for Raising Standards at Ks4. The team includes four excellent Seconded team members who are successful Middle Leaders with a passion for delivering high quality CPD and raising standards in Teaching and Learning.

This is an exciting time for the team and the successful candidate. Academy improvements have placed us in a strong position to take the next step in delivering exceptional provision and outcomes. This appointment is key to that mission. The Queen Elizabeth Academy is an 11-16 mixed academy based in Atherstone with approximately 715 pupils on roll. Following our Ofsted inspection in June 2022, we retained our "Good" rating, a real

testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and students. Ofsted commented the pupils were "respectful of each other's views and are exceptionally supportive. Pupils behave well. They are proud of their school and the improvements that have been made in recent years. Pupils enjoy school and know that leaders and staff have the highest expectations for them." The Ofsted report is a fair reflection of the academy and we continue to develop as we push from Good to Great.

In November 2016, as part of the Priority School Building Programme, we moved into brand new premises that have given us access to fantastic new facilities, which really set us apart in the locality.
