**Exciting opportunity for someone to develop project management skills within the Telecoms Sector Starting salary is £25,000 with provision to move to £30,000 as you become more autonomous.**

We are looking for a highly organised and self-motivated person to help with the organisation of installation projects around the UK and Europe.

Established in 2002, Devon and Cornwall DC Power Ltd supplies power systems support to the telecommunications industry in the UK and Europe. We provide electrical consultation to telecommunications and IT companies who value the resiliency of their electrical power. Having many years’ experience in this field, we provide consultation followed by the design and installation of integrated systems, often comprising standby generators, UPS, DC power systems and batteries. We then provide planned and reactive (call-out) maintenance support for those systems.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Extensive interaction with and reporting via both mobile and computer based systems (Primarily Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365 and Xero)
- Schedule project installation and maintenance work accounting for all relevant factors including materials lead times, resource availability and skills, customer deadlines and restrictions
- Ordering goods and services via the company buying team, and tracking those to ensure everything is in the right place at the right time
- Organising appropriate transport for goods and personnel
- Ensuring appropriate permissions are in place at every level to enable project work to go ahead as scheduled
- Following projects from start to finish including finishing maintenance reports and uploading job completion packs to the customer portal.
- Finding new ways to reduce expenses
- Keeping track of project budgets and variations
- Training new staff members
- Working with others to create and review company procedures
- Providing office administration support

**Skills, experience and qualities required**:

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience working in telecoms, electrical contracting or similar administrative role
- Familiar with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets), Microsoft Windows and Office 365 (Word, Excel, Visio and Project)
- Passport and allowed to travel within EU without restriction

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
