Matron - Inpatient Maternity

The post holder will be manage Maternity Inpatients and to ensure service needs and targets are met.
The Post holder will ensure care provided to the women is pivotal.
The Post holder to ensure staff feel supported at all times.
Liaising with Divisional and Deputy Director for Women's and Care Group Manager to ensure any improvements and actions are carried out to continue to meet with service need.
Maintaining relationships with internal and external colleagues to discuss issues actions that may be required.
The women's service is looking to recruit to the post of Matron Maternity In-patient Services
The Care Group is looking for an exceptional leader to provide operational guidance and leadership to the nursing and midwifery teams.
The role will involve supporting the care group teams to maximise their performance against key local and national targets whilst enhancing patient care.
The post holder will be a key member of the operational care group teams working with the matrons, care group manager and Clinical Director
Supported by the Divisional Director of Midwifery, Gynaecology and Sexual Health and the wider Divisional Team of Six.

The post holder will provide professional, clinical and managerial leadership with Maternity Inpatients, this will include Delivery Suite, Maternity Inpatients and Triage
The post holder will expert clinical knowledge relating to each area managed, being able to lead and teach other midwives in advancing professional the midwifery profession.
the post holder will have wide experience of normal midwifery and be skilled in the management of high-risk obstetrics and advanced midwifery practice
The post holder will play a pivotal role in the implementation of existing and forthcoming national guidance relating to safety organisation and delivery of maternity services.
The post holder will be an effective role model and effective leader.
The post holder will ensure the care of and needs of the women and their families are placed at the centre of care, thus achieving Trust and national standards for clinical quality, safety and patient experience.
