Concept resourcing is delighted to be partnering an NHS organisation as they look to recruit an experienced Contract Manager.

This role is based in Staffordshire and is an on-site role, therefore you must be happy to be in the office 5 days per week.

Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, this role will be responsible for:

- To manage the procurement projects, including pre and post tender discussions with both customers and suppliers.
- To take an overview of an allocated portfolio, liaising with collaborative partners and Customers regarding contract development opportunities.
- Analysis of portfolio both contract and non-contract, identifying new contracts and contract development opportunities. Setting specific objectives and timescales and preparing detailed project plans all focused on achieving value for money.
- To monitor and evaluate the performance of suppliers and take remedial action when necessary.
- Responsible for evaluating and adjudication of tenders for high value contracts, and selection of the most appropriate purchasing route
- Providing reports to management at agreed intervals.
- Plan and coordinates purchasing contract work plans/contract renewals including operational timing requirements of capital schemes

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Previous experience with a Contract Management role
- Ability to manage/renew/retender a portfolio of contracts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sound understanding of CIPS procurement principles
- Able to manage a small team

Salary will be depending upon experience is £33,706 - £40,588 plus a generous benefits package.
