Butler Rose is pleased to be supporting a dynamic SME operating in a specialised industry with the recruitment of a Head of Finance. Our client is focused on delivering exceptional products and services to their clients. The Head of Finance will report into a CFO with responsibility for a small finance team, and as the business continues to grow, the role of the Head of Finance will play a vital part in supporting the company's expansion plans. Our client is seeking an individual who is flexible, hands-on, and ready to make a difference. The successful applicant will also play a key part in the ERP implementation team during the migration stage of this new project over the coming months.

Some of the duties will include:

- Oversee the month-end procedure
- Control the business's cash flow
- Organise and be ready for the company's initial audit in 2023
- Provide analysis related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics including costing
- Create informative reports for the P&L, costing, and cash
- Increase efficiency and profitability, communicate with the senior management team and key stakeholders.
- Participate in planning the annual budget process with the CFO.
- Manage outsourced Payroll process
- Assume responsibility for all balance sheet and important P&L reconciliations.

Ideal applicant:

- Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent accountant with managerial experience
- Good process improvement skills
- Excellent IT skills with knowledge of Oracle & MS Excel
- Ability to think logically with excellent analytical skills
- Good communication skills with the ability to influence and build working relationships
